What This Role Involves

As a Journeyman Forensic Accountant, you'll work on high-stakes investigations and litigation support at Guidehouse, where forensic accounting consulting drives critical business decisions. This position combines analytical expertise with investigative rigor—you'll manage large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI) and translate complex financial data into actionable insights for internal investigations, external reviews, and legal proceedings. With up to 10% travel, you'll work directly with clients and internal teams to uncover financial truths and support dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and preserve electronically stored information (ESI) for forensic analysis and litigation support
• Review and produce ESI and financial records in response to investigation requests and legal discovery demands
• Conduct forensic analysis on financial data and ESI related to internal and external investigations
• Support legal proceedings by preparing documentation, analysis, and findings for discovery
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and forensic specialists to scope investigations and define deliverables
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of forensic examination methodologies and findings
• Travel to client sites and courts as needed (up to 10% of time)

Who We're Looking For

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (required)
• Journeyman-level expertise in forensic accounting or e-discovery
• Strong understanding of electronically stored information (ESI) handling, chain of custody, and preservation protocols
• Experience with investigations, litigation support, or legal proceedings involving financial analysis
• Proficiency with forensic tools and data analysis software
• Ability to communicate complex financial findings to non-technical stakeholders and legal teams
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required
