Orchid Orthopedic Solutions is hiring a Metal Finishing and Polishing specialist for our Wilsonville, Clackamas County facility. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver the precision surface finishing that orthopedic implants demand.

The Opportunity

As a Metal Finishing and Polishing professional at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions in Wilsonville, you'll ensure that every orthopedic implant meets exacting surface quality standards before it reaches surgeons and patients. Our Clackamas County manufacturing center is recognized for advanced finishing and coating capabilities on high-precision orthopedic components. You'll work with proven processes and equipment to achieve the superior finish quality that distinguishes market-leading medical devices.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform metal finishing, polishing, and surface preparation on orthopedic implant components using manual and automated techniques
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment, including polishing systems, vibratory media, and abrasive tools
• Inspect finished components for surface defects, imperfections, and dimensional accuracy
• Follow detailed work instructions and quality procedures to ensure compliance with medical device manufacturing standards
• Document work completed, quality results, and equipment maintenance according to company protocols
• Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve finishing challenges
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all manufacturing safety protocols
