About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Inspector I at Atkore, you'll be the quality guardian on the manufacturing floor. Working day shift, you'll conduct systematic inspections, functional tests, and quality audits to verify that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements before they leave our Shively facility. This role combines hands-on inspection work with attention to documentation and process integrity, ensuring we maintain the high standards our customers depend on.

What You'll Do

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured products using measurement tools and established procedures
• Conduct functional testing to confirm products operate correctly and safely
• Document inspection results, deviations, and defects in quality management systems
• Identify and report quality issues to production supervisors and quality teams
• Maintain organized inspection stations and calibrate tools according to company standards
• Support continuous improvement efforts by flagging recurring quality trends
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
