About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist in our Texarkana facility, you'll work with patients recovering from illness, surgery, or injury. You'll design and implement individualized treatment programs that enable individuals to achieve their personal recovery goals and improve their quality of life. This part-time position offers the flexibility to balance your career with other priorities while serving patients who need your expertise most.

What You'll Do

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities to identify functional limitations and rehabilitation potential
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's specific recovery goals and life circumstances
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic activities designed to restore independence in activities of daily living
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, assistive devices, and safe techniques for home and community reintegration
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
• Document patient progress, maintain accurate clinical records, and communicate outcomes with the care team
• Adjust treatment approaches based on patient response and progress toward established functional goals

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
• Current, active occupational therapy license in Arkansas
• NBCOT certification or current eligibility
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic clinical environment
