Factory Controller

Hitachi Energy USA Inc is hiring a Factory Controller for our operations facility in Alamo, Tennessee. In this full-time finance leadership role, you'll drive financial performance and operational excellence across our manufacturing operations, reporting directly to the Factory Manager.

About the Role

As Factory Controller, you'll own the financial strategy and execution for factory operations. This position combines accounting expertise, financial analysis, and operational leadership to ensure profitability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the plant.

What You'll Do

• Manage the factory's budget, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and P&L performance
• Oversee inventory management, material controls, and cost accounting
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives
• Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with the broader Hitachi finance organization
• Collaborate with operations teams to align financial goals with factory performance

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
• Strong proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing accounting teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and inventory control
