About the Role

As an Account Manager, Utility, you will serve as the primary commercial point of contact for utility clients in the Salt Lake City, Utah market, building lasting relationships and uncovering opportunities across Hitachi Energy's portfolio. This full-time sales position blends strategic account ownership with hands-on customer engagement, positioning you at the center of Hitachi Energy's mission to transform how power is generated, transmitted, and consumed.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and grow assigned utility accounts, acting as the trusted advisor who understands each customer's goals and challenges.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within the utility segment to expand Hitachi Energy's footprint.
• Develop account strategies that connect customer needs with the right products, services, and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver tailored proposals and competitive offers.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline records, and account plans to support business decisions.
• Represent Hitachi Energy professionally in customer meetings, negotiations, and industry interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally within the utility, energy, or power sector.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a consultative, customer-first approach.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear commercial value for utility clients.
• Self-directed work style with the organization to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Willingness to engage with customers across the Salt Lake City, Utah territory.
