About the Role
As an Account Executive at Blue Orange Digital, you'll own the full sales cycle for our cloud-based data analytics and machine learning services. You'll identify growth opportunities within your territory, lead discovery conversations with key decision-makers, and guide clients through the proposal and closing process. This is a full-time position based in our New York City office where you'll work alongside a talented team of engineers and data scientists who turn complex business challenges into data-driven advantages.
What You'll Do
- Prospect, qualify, and manage opportunities throughout the sales pipeline, from initial outreach through contract close
- Conduct needs assessments with prospective clients to uncover business challenges and demonstrate how our analytics solutions drive measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with our technical team to scope engagements, address client concerns, and create compelling solutions for enterprises and growth-stage companies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets while managing a diverse portfolio of accounts
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and ROI analyses tailored to client objectives
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B software or professional services sales, ideally within enterprise analytics, data, or technology consulting
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders
- Genuine interest in data analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation—you should be comfortable learning our service offerings and speaking credibly about business intelligence and predictive analytics
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing your own pipeline and sales cycle
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
