Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a full-time travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your clinical expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting while earning competitive compensation of $3,126 per week.
About the Role
As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you'll play a critical role in supporting complex minimally invasive procedures performed by interventional radiologists. Working in a modern facility in Peoria, Peoria County, you'll deliver direct patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and sterility in this fast-paced clinical environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Prepare and maintain radiological equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide compassionate patient care throughout procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort
What We're Looking For
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT or ARRT equivalent)
- Interventional Radiology experience or certification preferred
- Valid CPR certification
- Current state medical license or registration as required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
