Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for private duty nursing in Laredo. This full-time position offers a stable Monday-through-Wednesday night schedule, caring for low-acuity patients in their homes.

About the Role

As an LVN providing in-home care, you'll deliver skilled, compassionate nursing to stable, low-acuity clients throughout the Laredo community. Your work spans evening hours (9 PM–7 AM), Monday through Wednesday, offering predictable scheduling and genuine work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Administer medications and manage medication schedules according to care plans
• Monitor vital signs, track patient progress, and report changes to supervisors
• Perform wound care, catheter management, and other hands-on nursing procedures
• Document patient care thoroughly in electronic health records
• Communicate with patients and families to ensure comfort and address concerns
• Collaborate with the care team to adjust approaches and meet individual patient needs
• Maintain clean, safe home environments and infection-control standards

What We're Looking For

• Current, active LVN license in good standing in Texas
• Clinical competence and comfort working independently in home settings
• Strong communication skills and genuine commitment to patient advocacy
• Reliability and punctuality—your patients depend on you showing up
• Adaptability and compassion when working with diverse patient populations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• BLS/CPR certification required
