About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager at Zales in Natick Mall, you'll support day-to-day store operations and help drive sales performance across our fine jewelry department. You'll work alongside our Store Manager to create a welcoming environment where customers feel confident selecting the perfect piece for their special occasions.

What You'll Do

• Assist in overseeing daily store operations and maintaining a professional, clean shopping environment
• Support team scheduling, training, and performance management for jewelry consultants and sales staff
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and guide them toward meaningful jewelry selections
• Monitor inventory, merchandising standards, and product displays to reflect current promotions and seasonal themes
• Help achieve store sales targets and KPIs through effective team leadership and coaching
• Ensure compliance with company policies, security protocols, and customer service standards
• Support cash handling, register operations, and loss prevention measures
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally

What We're Looking For

• Proven retail management or assistant management experience, ideally in jewelry, luxury goods, or fine retail
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Customer service excellence and the ability to build rapport with diverse customers
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail management software
• Knowledge of fine jewelry, gemstones, and jewelry terminology is a plus
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced retail environment
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for retail operations
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail management experience preferred
