About the Role
As an Automotive Technician at RML Auto, you'll be at the center of our repair and maintenance operations, responsible for diagnosing and fixing vehicles brought to our Maypearl shop. You'll work directly with service management to prioritize your daily assignments and deliver quality work that keeps our customers safe on the road.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose vehicle issues using specialized equipment and technical knowledge
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on cars, trucks, and other vehicles
- Execute work according to manufacturer specifications and established safety standards
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical defects, safety concerns, and wear
- Document all repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job
- Maintain a safe, organized work area and tool inventory
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations to management and customers
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ASE certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Commitment to safety protocols and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take direction from management
