Telecom – Aerial Construction Foreman

Quanta Services is recruiting a Telecom - Aerial Construction Foreman to lead field operations at our Portland, Multnomah County location. This is a full-time position overseeing the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of aerial telecommunications infrastructure across Oregon and Washington.

About the Role

Oregon Aerial Construction (OAC), a division of Quanta Services and one of the Pacific Northwest's premier aerial telecommunications contractors, is seeking an experienced Foreman to manage construction crews and direct complex utility projects. You'll oversee daily field operations, ensure all work meets safety and quality standards, and lead skilled technicians on projects throughout the region.

What You'll Do

• Direct and supervise field crews performing aerial construction and maintenance work
• Plan project schedules, coordinate workflows, and allocate crew resources
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Inspect completed work and identify and resolve issues on site
• Report project status and milestones to management and clients
• Train crew members on techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials at job sites

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in aerial telecommunications construction or utility services
• Proven track record leading and managing field teams
• Mastery of climbing, rigging, and aerial work safety standards
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project requirements
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with availability to travel within Oregon and Washington
• Physical capacity to work at heights and perform strenuous manual tasks
