Nurse Supervisor

About the Role

As Nurse Supervisor at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital, you'll lead and support nursing staff in providing comprehensive rehabilitative care to patients across our Richmond, Madison County facility. This full-time position requires both strong clinical knowledge and proven leadership abilities to maintain patient safety, clinical standards, and regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative care environment.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants, to ensure consistent delivery of quality patient care
• Oversee daily unit operations, monitor patient outcomes, and ensure all clinical protocols and safety procedures are followed
• Manage staff scheduling, conduct performance evaluations, and support professional development for your nursing team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Respond to clinical concerns, coordinate with hospital leadership on performance metrics, and maintain regulatory compliance
• Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation and electronic health records to support continuity of care
• Model clinical best practices and foster a supportive, patient-centered team environment

What We're Looking For

• Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license and minimum 3+ years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation nursing, post-acute care standards, and healthcare compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to lead with compassion and decisiveness
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare information technology
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to clinical situations independently, and support evidence-based nursing practice
• Commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence within your team
