Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy duty equipment
• Execute repairs including engine overhauls, transmission service, hydraulic system work, and component replacement
• Inspect equipment systematically to identify wear, leaks, damage, and safety concerns
• Document maintenance activities, repair histories, and equipment performance
• Collaborate with operations teams to coordinate equipment downtime and maintain production schedules
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or similar role in construction, mining, transportation, or fleet maintenance
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment readouts
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to safe work practices
• Reliable, team-oriented professional who communicates clearly and takes pride in quality work
• Valid driver's license; CDL or ASE certification a plus
