Physical Therapist

Eastside Rehabilitation Hospital in Sandy Plains, Fulton County is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness. In this role, you will help patients rebuild strength, mobility, and independence through individualized rehabilitation treatment plans.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist at our Sandy Plains rehabilitation facility, you will work directly with patients to assess functional limitations, design targeted treatment protocols, and guide them through their recovery journey. You'll be part of a collaborative clinical team committed to achieving measurable, meaningful outcomes for every patient who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations to identify patient impairments, functional deficits, and rehabilitation potential
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and evidence-based interventions
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment strategies, and document clinical findings in medical records
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques for sustained recovery
• Communicate clinical observations and recommendations with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state licensing regulations, and facility standards of practice
• Contribute to a culture of patient safety, quality improvement, and professional excellence

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
• Current state physical therapy license
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital-based team environment
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or skilled nursing is a plus
