Mechanical Superintendent

Signal Energy is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee solar energy project construction in Elm Mott, McLennan County. As a field-based leader, you'll own the mechanical installation scope from mobilization through completion, working directly at the project site to ensure quality execution.

About the Role

In this full-time position, you'll serve as the primary mechanical lead on-site, reporting to the Construction Manager while coordinating closely with the Site Quality Manager, project owners, and trade subcontractors. Your success depends on blending technical expertise with strong collaboration skills and a commitment to solving problems as they emerge in the field.

What You'll Do

• Supervise mechanical installation activities, including equipment assembly, integration, and testing
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to maintain project schedule and workflow
• Identify and resolve mechanical challenges promptly, applying creative problem-solving to keep projects on track
• Track progress, document completion, and communicate status updates to the Construction Manager
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety protocols throughout the mechanical scope

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent or similar mechanical leadership role on construction projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment installation, and construction processes
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assigned work and drive results independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset and comfort working in dynamic field environments
• Familiarity with solar energy projects or renewable energy construction preferred
