Core of the Heart is seeking an experienced Podcast Long-Form Video Editor for UnlearnedWisdom, based in Los Angeles. We accept applications on a rolling basis and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for ongoing and future openings.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for editing, refining, and delivering high-quality long-form video content for our podcast. This is a full-time position where your technical expertise and creative eye will shape how our audience experiences our storytelling.
What You'll Do
- Edit extended podcast episodes and long-form video content from raw footage to polished final product
- Manage audio mixing, color grading, and visual consistency across all episodes
- Organize media assets, maintain project timelines, and meet delivery deadlines
- Repurpose long-form content into clips optimized for social media and other platforms
- Collaborate with creators to refine the visual and sonic identity of UnlearnedWisdom
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement best practices for video production workflows
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience editing podcast episodes or long-form video content (a portfolio or body of work demonstrating this is required)
- Advanced proficiency in major editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong grasp of audio engineering principles, color correction, and visual pacing
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A genuine passion for storytelling through video and audio
