Senior Product Owner, Enterprise Observability

CHS Inc. is hiring a Senior Product Owner for Enterprise Observability in Tumwater, Thurston County. This is a full-time position managing the product vision and strategy for observability solutions that serve our global agribusiness operations.

About the Role

As Senior Product Owner for Enterprise Observability, you'll lead the product strategy for monitoring, logging, and insights solutions across CHS Inc.'s distributed technology infrastructure. Working cross-functionally with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders, you'll define the roadmap for enterprise observability capabilities that enable real-time visibility into system health, performance, and reliability across operations serving agriculture customers and consumers worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Own the complete product lifecycle for enterprise observability platforms, from discovery through launch and iteration
• Gather and synthesize requirements from engineering teams, operations, and business partners to prioritize observability initiatives
• Define success metrics and KPIs that demonstrate the value of observability investments to the organization
• Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to architect solutions that scale across global operations spanning 19 countries
• Drive product adoption through clear communication of observability capabilities and best practices
• Evaluate emerging observability technologies and vendor solutions that align with organizational needs and budgets
• Lead quarterly planning, roadmap refinement, and cross-team synchronization on observability deliverables

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in product management, with at least 3 years focused on infrastructure, platform, or observability products
• Deep experience with observability concepts: metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and analytics
• Proven ability to manage complex, technical products serving multiple internal stakeholder groups
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences
• Track record of shipping products that improve engineering productivity or operational efficiency
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
