This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on complex capital markets transactions while developing deep expertise in structured equity products under the guidance of experienced practitioners.

About the Role

As a Corporate Associate focused on equity derivatives, you'll operate at the core of sophisticated derivatives practice, supporting the legal structuring, documentation, and execution of equity-linked transactions for institutional clients. You'll contribute to high-stakes deals while building mastery of a specialized and intellectually rigorous practice area.

What You'll Do

  • Draft, review, and negotiate equity derivative transaction documents, including confirmations, master agreements, credit support annexes, and related ancillary agreements
  • Analyze complex derivatives structures and their legal, regulatory, and tax implications for clients
  • Conduct due diligence on counterparties, underlying equities, and transaction terms
  • Support senior counsel in client negotiations, term discussions, and transaction execution through closing
  • Research market standards, precedent documentation, and emerging regulatory requirements affecting derivatives practice
  • Prepare memoranda and client advisory materials on equity derivatives matters
  • Collaborate across practice groups including tax, regulatory, and risk to deliver comprehensive transaction advice

What We're Looking For

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; bar admission or demonstrated commitment to pursuing admission
  • Rigorous legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities
  • Familiarity with or capacity to quickly develop expertise in equity derivatives, capital markets, and structured products
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent transactions with precision
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills
  • Genuine intellectual curiosity and motivation to build long-term depth in derivatives law
