Walmart is hiring an Auto Care Center Technician to join our automotive service team in Mesa, Maricopa County. As a full-time technician, you'll deliver high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services while providing excellent customer support.
About the Role
Our Auto Care Center in Mesa is seeking a detail-oriented automotive technician to perform vehicle maintenance, diagnose issues, and serve our customers with professionalism and expertise. This is a full-time position in a dynamic, fast-paced service environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and fluid services
- Inspect vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs
- Replace filters, wipers, batteries, and other wear components
- Conduct diagnostic checks to troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Communicate clearly with customers about their vehicles' service needs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Adhere to safety protocols and use tools and equipment correctly
- Support customers with guidance on vehicle maintenance
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Previous automotive maintenance or repair experience (preferred)
- ASE certification or motivation to obtain it (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Physical capability to perform manual labor and stand for extended shifts
Compensation
This full-time position offers hourly compensation in the $19–$32 range, depending on experience and qualifications, with additional opportunities for performance incentives and premium pay based on shift and facility factors.
