About the Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to manage special occasion events at our Michaels store location. As a Party & Event Host, you'll be the driving force behind creating memorable birthday parties, celebrations, and gatherings that exceed our guests' expectations. This is a hands-on position where you'll wear multiple hats—from event logistics to customer engagement—all while representing the Michaels brand and our commitment to celebrating creativity.

What You'll Do

• Organize, setup, and oversee children's birthday parties and special events within the Michaels store
• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel welcome from arrival through event completion
• Guide attendees through activities, manage event flow, and resolve issues that arise to maintain a positive experience
• Assist customers with product selection and recommendations for party supplies, crafts, and decorations
• Process transactions at checkout with accuracy and courtesy, keeping lines moving efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized event spaces and complete setup and breakdown tasks
• Support store operations including inventory, merchandising, and opening/closing procedures as scheduled
• Coordinate with management on event planning details, customer preferences, and special requests
