About the Role

The Service BDC Representative position is a full-time opportunity within Ford of Murfreesboro's Business Development Center. You'll be at the front line of customer engagement, handling every interaction with professionalism and care. This role is essential to keeping our service department running smoothly and ensuring that customers experience our commitment to quality service from their very first contact.

What You'll Do

• Answer and manage inbound customer calls and digital inquiries related to service requests and vehicle maintenance
• Proactively reach out to customers to schedule service appointments, recommend preventative maintenance, and communicate important service reminders
• Maintain accurate customer records and appointment calendars using our dealership management system
• Coordinate between customers and service technicians to ensure seamless scheduling and timely communication
• Respond to customer concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management as needed
• Track and meet monthly appointment scheduling targets and customer contact metrics

What We're Looking For

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build immediate rapport with customers
• Customer service experience, ideally in automotive sales, service, or a similar high-touch environment
• Comfort with computer systems and ability to quickly learn dealership software platforms
• Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work a dealership schedule
• High school diploma or equivalent
