What You'll Do

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and audit deliverables for diverse client bases
• Perform audit and review engagements while maintaining quality and compliance with professional standards
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff on technical accounting matters and professional practices
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on accounting and financial strategy
• Identify opportunities to apply technology and automation to increase efficiency and client value
• Collaborate across the Ascend network to leverage shared resources and best practices

What We're Looking For

• CPA certification or equivalent accounting credential (or actively pursuing certification)
• 5+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or equivalent professional environment
• Strong technical foundation in financial reporting, tax, and audit procedures
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to manage client relationships
• Openness to new technologies and methodologies in accounting practice
• Genuine interest in mentoring junior staff and contributing to firm culture
