About the Role
As a Credit Analyst within our Institutional Client Group, you'll analyze credit applications and financial data for auto dealers, supporting sound lending decisions across our institutional auto dealer finance portfolio. You'll combine analytical rigor with relationship management in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate credit applications, financial statements, and industry data from auto dealers seeking institutional financing
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and risk assessment using credit frameworks and industry standards
- Prepare credit memoranda with findings and recommendations for loan committee review
- Monitor dealer relationships and portfolio performance metrics over time
- Communicate credit analysis and rationale to internal teams, loan officers, and dealers
- Support credit compliance and regulatory standards in auto dealer finance operations
- Stay informed on automotive industry trends and dealer market developments
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related discipline
- Experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or risk management, ideally in auto finance or dealer finance
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills with demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheets
- Solid understanding of financial statements and key credit metrics
- Sound judgment in evaluating risk and creditworthiness
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
