PT Job Coach – Supported Employment

Join The Arc of Washington County as a Part-Time Job Coach providing supported employment services in Hagerstown, Washington County. Help individuals with disabilities build fulfilling careers through hands-on coaching, employer partnerships, and one-on-one job support.

About the Role

As a Job Coach in our Supported Employment program, you'll work directly with job seekers who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them prepare for, secure, and succeed in competitive employment. This is a flexible, part-time position offering 20–29 hours per week, with most shifts during evenings and weekends to accommodate your schedule and client needs. Starting pay is $19.35 per hour, with opportunities for higher rates based on your experience and performance. This is a regular, year-round position with clear growth potential.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one job coaching and employment support to clients seeking work in the community
• Assist with job readiness training, interview preparation, and workplace skill-building
• Connect clients with local employers and facilitate job placement opportunities
• Provide on-the-job coaching and ongoing support to ensure client success in their roles
• Maintain documentation and track client progress toward employment goals
• Collaborate with the supported employment team to develop individualized service plans
• Build and maintain employer relationships to create sustainable job opportunities

• Reliable transportation and willingness to work in the community
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in supported employment, disability services, or coaching is valued
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to person-centered, strengths-based support
