About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Cook to join our culinary team at this university dining facility. You'll work full-time with rotating shift schedules designed to support meal service across the week. What You'll Do

• Prepare meals and dishes according to approved recipes and plating standards
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, and steamers safely and efficiently
• Maintain food safety and sanitation protocols in all kitchen areas
• Store ingredients and supplies properly to ensure quality and minimize waste
• Work collaboratively with dining services staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
• Support kitchen organization and contribute to smooth daily operations
• Follow all health codes and food handling guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Cook or in commercial kitchen food preparation (preferred)
• Understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and food preparation procedures
• Reliability and punctuality with a professional work ethic
• Physical capacity to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to work varying schedules and adapt to operational needs
• Strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent relevant experience

Compensation & Work Details
