Bartender

bartaco is hiring a full-time Bartender in Chapel Hill, Orange County, to join our team of hospitality professionals dedicated to crafting exceptional cocktails and creating memorable guest experiences in our vibrant, relaxed restaurant setting.

About the Role

As a Bartender at bartaco, you'll be the face of our bar, where your skills in mixology and guest service directly shape how visitors experience our brand. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, passion-driven environment where every shift matters. You'll work alongside a talented team in our scratch kitchen concept, where fresh ingredients and creativity meet to deliver something special.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve expertly crafted cocktails, including our signature freshly squeezed drink offerings
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to every guest, building relationships and ensuring memorable visits
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and follow health and safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate timing and execute our operational flow
• Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and contribute to cost-conscious operations
• Engage with guests to understand preferences and make personalized drink recommendations
• Work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and quality

What We're Looking For

• Proven bartending experience in upscale casual or fast-casual restaurant settings
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes and techniques
• Genuine passion for hospitality and connecting with guests
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during high-volume service periods
• Physical stamina to stand throughout your shift and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as scheduled
• A positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Current or willingness to obtain bartending certification preferred
