HR Business Partner

Foundation Building Materials, LLC is hiring a full-time HR Business Partner in Lancaster, Lancaster County to drive people strategy and operational excellence across our construction materials distribution operations.

As HR Business Partner at Foundation Building Materials, LLC, you'll serve as a strategic human resources leader for our Lancaster operations, bridging business objectives with people-centered solutions. This role sits at the intersection of HR strategy, employee development, and organizational effectiveness, supporting leadership teams in building a high-performing workforce.

What You'll Do

• Partner with department managers and executives to align HR initiatives with business goals and growth targets
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent development programs that attract and retain skilled professionals
• Support employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace culture initiatives
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company HR policies across all locations
• Design and implement training programs, professional development opportunities, and succession planning
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for organizational improvement
• Collaborate with payroll, benefits administration, and other HR functions to deliver integrated employee experiences
• Contribute to company culture and engagement initiatives that support our mission in the construction materials industry

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of HR Business Partner, human resources, or talent management experience
• Demonstrated success working in operations, construction, manufacturing, or distribution environments
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with HR information systems, data analysis, and reporting tools
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• SHRM certification or equivalent HR credential preferred
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational demands
