AOB is hiring a Human Resource Manager to deliver comprehensive HR services to our parishes and affiliated entities throughout the United States. In this full-time position, you'll lead strategic HR initiatives, manage employee relations, oversee recruitment, and ensure organizational compliance across our communities.

About the Role

As Human Resource Manager at AOB, you'll be responsible for all core HR functions that support our mission and strengthen our workplace. You'll work collaboratively with parish leadership and organizational stakeholders to align HR practices with our values, drive employee engagement, and build the talent pipeline we need to serve our communities effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and hiring—posting positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees
  • Perform job analysis and develop clear, comprehensive job descriptions that reflect organizational needs and role expectations
  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, evaluations, and professional development planning
  • Ensure all HR policies, practices, and decisions comply with federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Administer employee benefits programs, retirement plans, and support benefits enrollment and education
  • Partner with leadership to identify talent needs, implement HR strategies, and support organizational growth

What We're Looking For

  • 3 or more years of human resources management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR technology platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality
