Contract Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Community Outreach & Employee Services

Join Feather River Tribal Health as a part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist providing behavioral health support to our employees and community members in Oroville.

What This Role Involves

You'll deliver evidence-based mental health counseling and therapeutic services across two key areas: direct clinical support for Feather River Tribal Health staff, and community-focused mental health outreach. Working approximately 20 hours per week, you'll help bridge gaps in behavioral health access by partnering with local educational institutions, community organizations, and allied service providers throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapeutic services to Feather River Tribal Health employees
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans aligned with clinical best practices
• Lead community mental health outreach efforts in coordination with schools and other local service providers
• Deliver evidence-based interventions addressing behavioral health needs across diverse populations
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation and communicate effectively with referral sources
• Contribute to organizational efforts to broaden availability of mental health services to populations with limited access

Requirements

• Current California license as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent clinical license)
• Demonstrated experience providing direct mental health services in clinical or community settings
• Strong cultural competence and commitment to serving tribal and underserved populations
• Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and current clinical best practices
