Altamira Technology Corporation is seeking a Test Automation Software Engineer to join our team in Castlewood, Centennial. As a full-time software engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that support our mission-critical applications serving the defense, intelligence, and homeland security communities.
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Test Automation Software Engineer who can build robust, scalable testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You'll work with modern testing tools and practices to automate complex testing scenarios, identify defects early, and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on systems that matter—supporting national security initiatives through innovative technology and rigorous quality assurance.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement automated test suites and frameworks for software applications
- Develop test scripts and automation strategies that improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to identify testing requirements
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and document findings for development teams
- Maintain and enhance existing automated testing infrastructure and tools
- Troubleshoot test failures and work with engineers to resolve underlying issues
- Contribute to the development of testing best practices and methodologies
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar platforms
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience writing clear, maintainable test code and comprehensive test documentation
- Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
