About the Role
As a Personal Injury Associate Attorney at gpac, you'll handle cases from initial client consultation through settlement negotiation and resolution. Working in a plaintiff-focused environment, you'll gain direct exposure to all critical phases of personal injury litigation while building a strong foundation in case evaluation, damage assessment, and settlement strategy.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage a personal injury caseload during the pre-litigation and early litigation phases
- Evaluate cases for liability, causation, and quantifiable damages
- Review and analyze medical records, billing documentation, and treatment records to establish injury severity and damages
- Conduct settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel
- Draft legal correspondence, demand letters, and case management documents
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to refine litigation strategy
- Maintain detailed case documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of personal injury experience, ideally with a plaintiff law firm or plaintiff-side practice
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess liability and calculate damages
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities
- Proven capability to manage multiple cases while meeting strict deadlines
- Self-directed, proactive approach to case development and client service
- Familiarity with personal injury case management and settlement procedures
