Role Overview

As an Armed Patrol Security Officer CPO (Certified Protection Officer), you are the frontline presence protecting our clients' facilities and grounds. You'll conduct regular security patrols, monitor property access points, and respond to potential threats with professionalism and situational awareness. Core Duties

• Perform armed foot and vehicular patrols across assigned properties throughout Charlotte
• Monitor and control access to facilities; verify identification and enforce security protocols
• Conduct threat assessments and respond appropriately to security incidents
• Document all incidents, suspicious activities, and patrol observations in detailed reports
• Communicate effectively with clients, law enforcement, and emergency responders
• Maintain security equipment and report maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

• Valid security guard license and current armed security certification required
• Certified Protection Officer (CPO) credential or willingness to obtain certification
• Clean criminal background and ability to pass thorough background investigation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Physical fitness to walk extended patrol routes and respond to emergencies
• Professional communication and conflict de-escalation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to document incidents accurately
