What This Role Involves
You'll operate a refrigerated (reefer) truck on an established, dedicated route between Denver, Colorado and Opelika, Alabama. This dedicated lane provides a stable schedule: five days driving out, then home for your mandatory 34-hour reset each week. Unlike traditional trucking, there's no waiting for backhaul assignments—your return trip is pre-planned. You'll transport temperature-sensitive cargo for trusted customers, maintaining the highest standards of cargo integrity and on-time delivery.
What You'll Do
- Operate a reefer truck on the established Denver-to-Opelika-to-Denver route
- Transport temperature-controlled freight and maintain cargo specifications
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and all safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers on pickups, deliveries, and load details
- Maintain a clean driving record and contribute to company safety standards
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Minimum one to two years commercial truck driving experience
- Clean driving record and passing background check
- DOT medical clearance and passing physical examination
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused work ethic
