About the Role

This position serves as the bridge between Nscale’s innovative AI infrastructure initiatives and the policymakers, regulators, and community stakeholders who shape the environment in which we operate. You will help ensure our technological advancements align with public policy goals while fostering transparent, collaborative dialogue.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory developments that impact AI, data centre operations, and high‑performance computing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, industry associations, and civil society groups.
  • Prepare briefing papers, talking points, and testimony for executive leadership and external audiences.
  • Coordinate advocacy efforts, including meetings, hearings, and public comment submissions, to represent Nscale’s interests.
  • Work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and legal teams to translate technical concepts into policy‑relevant insights.
  • Track and report on the outcomes of engagement activities, measuring effectiveness against strategic objectives.
  • Represent Nscale at conferences, workshops, and industry forums to raise visibility and gather intelligence.

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree in political science, public affairs, law, international relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in government relations, public policy, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within technology, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical topics for non‑technical audiences.
  • Analytical mindset and familiarity with the U.S. legislative and regulatory process.
  • Excellent networking abilities and a track record of building trusted relationships with policymakers and influencers.
  • Self‑directed, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑growing, innovative environment.
