Oracle is seeking a Full-Time Senior Principal Site Selection Manager to join its team in Pierre, Hughes County.
About the Role
In this position you will lead the identification and evaluation of potential data center sites across multiple markets, using data‑driven analysis to guide strategic decisions while ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability and operational objectives.
What You'll Do
- Conduct global analytics and market research to pinpoint promising metros and regions for new facilities.
- Develop site selection opportunities by assessing geographic, infrastructural, and regulatory factors.
- Determine competitive market rates and prepare financial models to support site recommendations.
- Engage with data center operators, landowners, and local stakeholders to negotiate commercial terms.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex lease agreements and related legal documents.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure selected sites align with Oracle’s operational and sustainability goals.
- Prepare executive briefings and presentations for leadership review.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on site viability.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in site selection, real estate analysis, or a related field within the technology or data center industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in market research tools and data visualization.
- Proven ability to negotiate lease agreements and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, suited for influencing senior leadership.
- Familiarity with legal aspects of commercial leasing and contract management.
- Self‑starter mindset with the capacity to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
- Experience using GIS mapping tools or similar spatial analysis platforms.
- Understanding of energy consumption trends and sustainability standards.
