The City of Greenville is seeking a Court Services Associate - 0626 to join its team in Greenville, Greenville County, working full‑time to support efficient courtroom operations.

About the Role

This position provides essential support to the local judiciary by assisting with the day‑to‑day flow of courtroom activities. Working under immediate supervision, the associate follows established policies and procedures to keep proceedings organized and on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate the orderly movement of cases through the courtroom, ensuring that judges, attorneys, litigants, and witnesses are ready when needed.
• Serve as a liaison between the court, the American Bar Association, the public, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
• Prepare and distribute documentation required for hearings and trials.
• Maintain accurate records of courtroom activities and update case tracking systems.
• Assist with scheduling hearings, coordinating room assignments, and communicating any changes to stakeholders.
• Handle routine inquiries from the public and provide information about court processes.
• Ensure compliance with court rules and procedural guidelines throughout each case.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in criminal justice, legal studies, or public administration is a plus.
• Experience in a court, legal office, or administrative support role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
