CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver for its Powell, Delaware County location to support timely distribution of food and grocery products.

About the Role

As a full‑time CDL A Delivery Truck Driver, you will be an essential link in McLane’s supply chain, transporting goods from distribution centers to a variety of retail and foodservice customers across the region.

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently on local and regional routes
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, completing required paperwork and logs
• Load and unload pallets, cases, and other freight using appropriate equipment
• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety policies
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers during deliveries
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and delivery records
• Communicate any mechanical issues or route concerns to dispatch promptly

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Experience with handheld scanning devices or electronic logging systems is a plus
