About the Role
As a travel CT tech, you'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment, working primarily on the night shift. You'll position patients, operate scanning instrumentation, and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols. The facility provides the infrastructure and support travel professionals need to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment per facility protocols
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures clearly
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout scanning procedures
- Maintain imaging quality standards and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams on diagnostic imaging
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
- Current CT technologist certification or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) credential
- Valid state licensure as required
- Demonstrated proficiency with CT imaging systems
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work effectively during night shift hours
- Experience in travel healthcare assignments a plus
