HR Business Partner, AMZL

Amazon is seeking an HR Business Partner, AMZL to support its workforce in Prichard, Mobile County. This full‑time role partners with operations leaders to deliver HR solutions that drive engagement, performance, and compliance across hourly teams.

About the Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to site management and hourly associates, translating business objectives into people strategies. You will help shape a safe, inclusive workplace while supporting talent development, employee relations, and workforce planning initiatives that align with Amazon’s leadership principles.

What You'll Do

• Provide day‑to‑day HR generalist support to managers and associates on policies, procedures, and compliance matters.
• Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews for hourly populations.
• Partner with leadership to identify talent gaps and design targeted development programs that build bench strength.
• Lead employee relations investigations, ensuring fair and consistent application of Amazon’s standards.
• Analyze workforce metrics and trends to recommend actions that improve retention, productivity, and employee experience.
• Support recruitment efforts by advising on sourcing strategies, interview techniques, and onboarding best practices for hourly roles.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that foster a culture of belonging.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as an HR generalist or business partner, preferably in a fast‑paced, hourly‑workforce environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated capability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with confidentiality and tact.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
