Feldman Automotive is seeking a Body Shop Customer Service Representative to join its team in New Rome, Franklin County. This full‑time position focuses on delivering outstanding service to clients visiting the collision repair center.

About the Role

The Body Shop Customer Service Representative acts as the primary point of contact for customers bringing vehicles in for repair, guiding them through the estimate, scheduling, and pickup process while maintaining clear communication with the shop’s technicians and parts department.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers upon arrival and assess their immediate needs
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries about repair status
• Create accurate repair estimates using the shop’s estimating software
• Schedule repair appointments and coordinate vehicle drop‑off and pick‑up times
• Explain repair procedures, timelines, and costs in plain language
• Process payments, handle insurance paperwork, and maintain detailed customer records
• Follow up with clients after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Keep the front‑desk area organized, stocked with forms, and present a professional appearance

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in automotive customer service, collision repair, or a related retail environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills suited to explaining technical information to non‑technical clients
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including estimating systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced shop while maintaining attention to detail
• Problem‑solving mindset and a commitment to resolving customer issues promptly
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (preferred but not required)
• Professional demeanor, punctuality, and a team‑oriented attitude
