What You'll Do
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized case plans for incarcerated individuals

- Collaborate with correctional staff, healthcare providers, and outside agencies
- Document case progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulations
- Respond to crisis situations and behavioral health concerns
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development in corrections practice
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Social work license or human services credential as required by the State of Hawai'i
- Experience in correctional, behavioral health, or institutional settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in secure correctional environments
- Commitment to rehabilitation and evidence-based practices
Compensation & Employment
This is a full-time, statewide position with the State of Hawai'i. The salary is $4,590 per month at the SR-18 grade, Step D level.
