About the Role

As a Claims Representative at Sedgwick, you'll manage general liability and product liability claims across multiple jurisdictions. This role combines investigative work, claimant communication, and claims documentation in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and responsiveness directly impact outcomes for policyholders and our clients.

What You'll Do

• Investigate and process general and product liability claims with attention to multi-state regulatory requirements
• Communicate professionally with claimants, witnesses, healthcare providers, and defense counsel to gather information and manage expectations
• Maintain detailed, compliant claim files and documentation across multiple state jurisdictions
• Review claim details, assess liability coverage, and prepare recommendations for claim resolution
• Follow up on claim status with internal teams, service providers, and external parties
• Apply knowledge of multi-state insurance regulations and licensing requirements to claims administration

What We're Looking For

• Multi-state insurance licenses or strong ability to obtain reciprocal licenses as required
• Professional communication skills—written and verbal—with ability to manage difficult conversations
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple claims simultaneously
• Attention to detail and commitment to accurate claim documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with general and product liability insurance a plus
