About the Role
In this field sales position, you'll represent McKesson's comprehensive portfolio of solutions to post-acute care providers. You'll build meaningful relationships with facility decision-makers, understand their operational challenges, and recommend products and services that improve patient outcomes while optimizing their operations. Your expertise will help healthcare organizations deliver quality care more efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage a territory of post-acute care facilities, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and home health agencies
- Conduct needs assessments and present customized solutions that address clinical, operational, and financial priorities
- Build strong, consultative relationships with administrators, clinical directors, and purchasing decision-makers
- Meet sales targets by identifying new accounts and expanding services within existing customer base
- Provide product training and education to help customers maximize value from McKesson solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful implementations
- Stay current on post-acute care industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
What We're Looking For
- Proven field sales experience, ideally in healthcare, post-acute care, or medical/pharmaceutical distribution
- Strong consultative selling skills with ability to understand complex healthcare operations
- Self-motivated professional comfortable with territory management and independent account development
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to travel within your assigned territory as needed
- Understanding of post-acute care landscape and buyer personas preferred
