EY is hiring a full-time Senior Global Trade professional at our New York State Campus in Albany County. Lead complex indirect tax and trade strategy initiatives using Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, advising multinational organizations on tariff optimization, customs compliance, and cross-border trade risk management.

About the Role

As a Senior Global Trade strategist within EY's tax advisory practice, you'll combine deep platform expertise with consultative advisory skills to solve enterprise trade challenges. You'll design and implement Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE solutions for sophisticated multinational clients, navigate evolving tariff landscapes, and translate regulatory complexity into actionable strategy for C-suite stakeholders. This is a hands-on role where you drive both technical delivery and business development across your client portfolio.

What You'll Do

• Guide multinational enterprises through global tariff classification, duty optimization, and trade agreement strategy
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE platforms for enterprise scale
• Assess indirect tax exposure, develop compliance protocols, and prepare audit documentation
• Conduct customs and trade risk assessments across international supply chains
• Present trade strategy insights and recommendations to executive leadership
• Manage complex engagements spanning multiple jurisdictions and business units
• Build subject matter expertise and mentor developing tax professionals

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in global trade law, tariffs, trade agreements, and indirect tax compliance
• Advanced proficiency with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE; platform administration experience strongly preferred
• Track record managing high-value client relationships and senior-level consultative engagements
• Comprehensive understanding of US Customs law, trade policy, and international commerce regulations
• Strong quantitative, written communication, and project delivery capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, international business, finance, or related discipline
• CPA, EA, or specialized trade/indirect tax certification preferred
