Quality Coordinator III (AWS/CWI) – 4P/624

4P Consulting is hiring a Quality Coordinator III with AWS/CWI certifications for a full-time, 3-year contract position based in Salem, Lee County. You'll manage welding inspections and quality assurance on critical infrastructure projects including battery energy storage systems, solar installations, and utility construction work across Georgia.

About the Role

Working with 4P Consulting and our client Southern Company Services, you'll play a central role in maintaining the highest quality standards on active construction sites. Your certified inspections and quality oversight ensure that all work complies with industry specifications and regulatory requirements from project inception through completion.

What You'll Do

• Perform AWS and CWI-certified welding inspections on active construction sites
• Verify materials, workmanship, and installation compliance with industry standards and project specifications
• Conduct comprehensive on-site quality assessments and document findings in project records
• Identify quality issues and work with project teams to implement corrective actions
• Travel between Georgia construction locations to maintain consistent oversight and inspection protocols
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records

What We're Looking For

• Active CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) and AWS certifications (required)
• Minimum 10 years of construction quality or welding inspection experience, or equivalent 4-year degree plus relevant certification
• Demonstrated experience in utility, solar, or battery energy storage systems (BESS) construction
• AMPP or NACE certification (preferred)
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Georgia project sites
• Strong documentation skills and commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
