Right of Way Agent (In-House)

Coates Field Service Inc is actively hiring a Right of Way Agent (In-House) for our operations in Galena Park, Harris County. This full-time position supports essential day-to-day right of way acquisition and management functions for a significant pipeline project serving the Houston, Texas area.

About the Role

As our Right of Way Agent, you'll lead land acquisition efforts and manage property-related responsibilities that are critical to pipeline project success. This role demands expertise in corridor acquisition, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate complex landowner interactions while maintaining tight project timelines.

What You'll Do

• Manage right of way acquisition processes for pipeline corridors, including initial contact, negotiation, and easement agreement execution with private landowners
• Conduct property research, surveys, and site assessments to support land acquisition decisions
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, contracts, and easement records in compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Coordinate with legal, environmental, and engineering teams to resolve property-related issues and ensure project alignment
• Monitor acquisition timelines and manage competing priorities to meet critical project milestones
• Build and maintain professional relationships with property owners, local authorities, and stakeholders throughout the acquisition process

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in right of way acquisition or land management for pipeline, utility, or linear infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate and close land acquisitions with private property owners
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent properties and deadlines
• Knowledge of easement agreements, property rights, and regulatory requirements applicable to pipeline projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset with proficiency in contract review and documentation
