Service Technician

The Opportunity

ICEE is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our Baltimore, Baltimore County team. In this role, you'll work under the guidance of our operations leadership to deliver reliable, professional service to a diverse customer base. You'll be responsible for the complete lifecycle of ICEE equipment—from installation and routine maintenance to emergency repairs—ensuring every retail location and restaurant keeps their beverage operations running smoothly. This position combines technical skill with customer-facing work in a dynamic field environment.

Core Duties

• Install, service, and maintain frozen carbonated and non-carbonated beverage dispensers
• Repair and maintain fountain beverage systems, ice makers, and juice dispensers at customer locations
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and identify equipment issues before they impact operations
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and execute repairs efficiently to minimize customer downtime
• Document service calls, parts inventory, labor time, and customer interactions accurately
• Transport equipment and supplies safely and adhere to all workplace safety requirements
• Establish positive, professional relationships with retail and restaurant partners

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage a service territory
• Experience with beverage equipment, commercial appliances, or refrigeration systems is valued
