WIZ KIDS DAYCARE & ACADEMY INC is hiring a Daycare Teacher for our Baytown location in Harris County. This is a full-time position working directly with 2-year-old and 3-year-old students in a supportive, learning-focused classroom environment.
About the Role
As a Daycare Teacher at WIZ KIDS DAYCARE & ACADEMY INC, you'll design and deliver meaningful daily experiences for toddlers and preschoolers. You'll support developmental milestones, lead engaging learning activities, and create a safe, nurturing space where young children build confidence and early skills.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute age-appropriate lessons and activities for 2- and 3-year-olds
- Guide children through potty training with encouragement and consistent positive reinforcement
- Organize classroom materials, routines, and learning stations for optimal engagement
- Foster individual relationships with each child and communicate progress to families
- Maintain a clean, safe, and developmentally stimulating classroom environment
- Observe and document child development milestones and behavioral patterns
- Support social-emotional learning and conflict resolution among peers
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED certification (required)
- Proven experience working in childcare, preschool, or early education settings
- Demonstrated knowledge of lesson planning and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment
- Genuine patience, reliability, and passion for working with young children
- Ability to thrive in a full-time, hands-on daycare role
