About the Role
As a full-time Groundskeeper with Compass Group, North America, you'll help keep school district grounds clean, safe, and welcoming. This position is based at CCSD Grounds, 7297 Peppermill Parkway, North Charleston, SC 29414, serving the Charleston Air Force Base community in Charleston County, with additional openings available at other locations across the school district.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance and condition of outdoor grounds, lawns, and landscaped areas across school district properties
- Perform routine upkeep tasks to keep walkways, fields, and shared spaces clean and presentable
- Support a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors throughout the day
- Work a full-time Monday through Friday schedule, with hours that may vary and further details provided at the interview stage

- Ability to perform physical, hands-on outdoor work in varied conditions
- Reliability and a commitment to a consistent full-time, weekday schedule
- A team-oriented attitude and attention to detail in maintaining clean, orderly grounds
